MS Excel : Rank Formula

Rank Formula lets you find the relative position of a number amongst a set of numbers like determine who stands 1st,2nd,3rd and son on in class.
Returns the rank of a number in a list of numbers. The rank of a number is its size relative to other values in a list. (If you were to sort the list, the rank of the number would be its position.)

  1. Hi, I see a problem. When you have two people with the same score and they rank 8 for example, then the next person should rank 10, not 9. Because 2 people are ranked 8, this uses up position 9. How would we do this?
