If, Then Formula in MS Excel

How do you use ‘if then’ in Microsoft Excel? MS Excel has some very powerful conditional tools that are almost like simple programming. One of them is the ‘If Then’ formula. If Then in Excel allows you to check the condition of something, and, if it is true, populate a cell with some value. If that condition isn’t true, then it can do some other thing.

  1. We've gotten a lot of response on this one, it's one of those things that comes in pretty handy, how can can you make one cell do something when something else is happening in another cell? if this is true, then do this, if false, then do some some other thing. Hope it helps!
